Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 July 2026

This policy is provided by JT Solutions OÜ, registered at Seebi 1, 11316 Tallinn, Estonia ("Racquet Passport," "we," "us"), the operator of racquetpassport.app.

What this covers

This policy explains what personal information Racquet Passport collects through the web app at racquetpassport.app (including when installed as a home-screen app), why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.

Information we collect

Account information. Your email address and full name, which you provide when you create an account. We use one-time email codes to sign you in — we never ask for or store a password.

Optional profile information. Phone number and a profile photo, if you choose to add them.

Optional playing profile. Your playing level and style, how often you play, your club, whether you're a junior, and whether you prefer arm-friendly string setups. All optional, all set by you, and used for two things only: giving the stringer working on your racquet useful context, and making the AI string suggestion fit you rather than being generic. The arm-friendly setting is an equipment preference, not health information — we don't ask about or store injuries or medical details.

Racquet and service data. Details about your racquet (brand, model, weight, grip size, string pattern) and its stringing history (dates, strings used, tension, notes) — entered by you or by the stringer who services your racquet.

Location data. If you register as a stringer or shop, the address and map coordinates you choose to share, so players can find you. We use Google Maps and OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service to look up and display these locations.

Business information. For shop and stringer accounts: shop name, logo, contact details, and your selected plan/membership tier.

Push notification data. If you enable push notifications, your browser provides us a subscription endpoint used only to deliver the notifications you asked for (e.g. a restring reminder).

Stringers you ask for. If your stringer isn't on Racquet Passport and you tell us who they are, we store the business name, optionally the town and a public business contact, and the fact that you asked. We do not email or message that stringer. Instead we give you a message to send them yourself, and we use the record to know which shops players want so we can approach them ourselves. If you're a stringer and would like us to delete a record naming your business, email privacy@racquetpassport.app and we'll remove it.

Analytics. We use PostHog, an EU-hosted product analytics service, to understand how people use racquetpassport.app — things like which pages are viewed and which buttons are clicked. This is configured to link activity to your personal profile only once you're signed in; browsing before that is tracked anonymously. We don't use this data for advertising, and we don't share it with ad networks or sell it to anyone.

How we use your information

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We use the following service providers ("sub-processors") to run Racquet Passport, each of which only receives what it needs to do its job:

International transfers

Depending on hosting region configuration, some of the providers above may process or store data outside your own country. Where that happens, we rely on those providers' own safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for cross-border transfers.

How long we keep your data

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we'll delete your personal information except where we need to retain limited records for legitimate business or legal purposes (for example, financial records required by law).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to certain uses of it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@racquetpassport.app. If you're not satisfied with our response, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Cookies and local storage

We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences like your language choice on the landing page. Analytics (PostHog) only runs if you've accepted the cookie banner shown on your first visit — until then, or if you decline, no analytics cookies are set. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Children

Racquet Passport is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.
